Jomast says it will back Pie Jackers’ Neil and Julie Fletcher in the fight to reduce their bill which is twice as high as other Middlesbrough eateries.

The developers behind a regeneration zone in Middlesbrough say they are “shocked” at high business rates levied on a new diner.

Pie Jackers owners, Neil and Julie Fletcher warned they might not survive the first year in their new Albert North eatery, after being hit with a surprise bill that’s almost double the average for the town.
