Government Gateway: A step by step guide
Once we have discovered if you are likely to be able to appeal your rates then if you’re the owner, occupier or authorised agent of a property, you will need to register on the Government Gateway to appeal your rates, or to appoint an agent to appeal your rates for you.

It’s a relatively quick process, but these short videos explain step by step how you can appoint Property Savings Group to appeal your rates.
Before attempting to register you will need your National Insurance number, date of birth and one other form of identification, such as – UK passport, P60 or payslips.
If you’re not eligible for a National Insurance number or you don’t have proof of ID, you should contact the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) by emailing [email protected].

It takes less than 1 minute and we will then be appointed and can appeal your rates.
