Inflation rate signals £1bn business rates hike in England

The Office for National Statistics revealed on Wednesday that Consumer Price Index inflation was 3.1% in September.

This will increase rates liabilities by as much as £1.04 billion for businesses across England from 1 April 2022.

Will the Government step in and keep the rate in the £ the same?
